ACHI in partnership with CADRE undertook a targeted assessment to evaluate the current emergency preparedness knowledge and practices among Tigrinya-speaking populations originating from Eritrea and Ethiopia.

 

Employing structured focus group discussions, the project explored key community preparedness indicators—awareness, attitudes, and behavioral responses to earthquakes and natural hazards.

 

The findings underscore the critical role of culturally grounded communication strategies and the need for demographically tailored outreach mechanisms.
